About Istria
Istria is a heart-shaped peninsula located in
Croatia on the Adriatic Sea right below the Alps. Due to its geographic location Istria enjoys perfectly arranged seasons – lush green springs, colorful autumns, pleasant summers and mild winters.
While staying in Rabac you can easily visit some of the historical and natural wonders that Istria has to offer. Here is a short list of attractions that might be of interest to you:
- Hum is a medieval town also known as the smallest town in the world
- Islands of Cres and Lošinj known for their vegetation, natural lake, and dolphins
- Labin medieval town, today known for its numerous galleries and artists
- Motovun the most famous and attractive Istrian medieval town
- Poreč is known for its Euphrasian Basilica from the 6th century inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1997
- Pula has one of the best preserved Roman build Amphitheatre dating back to the 1 century B.C.
- Rovinj is one of the most 'photogenic' towns in the Mediterranean

Gastronomy
Istria
is known for its gastronomy and culinary experiences. Numerous
restaurants and farmers markets offer fresh produces, meats and sea

There are numerous restaurants along the waterfront in Rabac and in

Activities
There are numerous activities for you to enjoy while staying in Rabac. You can bike, scuba dive, sail, fish, jet-ski, water-ski, parasail, swim or just relax enjoying a cocktail or watching fishing boats. You can also visit Venice by hoping on a Venezia Lines Air Cushion
catamarans which departs from the port of Rabac.
